Joint Commission Accreditation

Providing consistently outstanding care, compassionate, patient-centered service, and innovative practices is our promise to our members and Yale University. We take this promise seriously and work to achieve it every day. To meet that promise, our team has set high standards and has been continuously accredited by an independent, nationally recognized accreditation program, the Joint Commission, since 2005. 

Through accreditation, we voluntarily participate in an evaluation conducted by trained external peer reviewers who evaluate and compare our compliance to established and nationally recognized performance standards. The accreditation process opens our doors to a transparent review and provides a professional, proactive assessment of our center, processes, and patient care.
